Caritas Carney Hospital provides interpreter services for non-English speaking patients and hearing impaired individuals who receive their medical care at our healthcare facility. This service is available seven days a week twenty-four hours/day. Paid staff interpreters are fluent in Portuguese/Cape Verdean Creole, French/Haitian Creole, Italian, Spanish and Vietnamese. In addition, staff volunteer interpreters, who are knowledgeable in medical terminology and meet the standards required by regulatory agencies, provide linguist services in twenty-three languages.
