Caritas Christi announced Ralph de la Torre, M.D. as its president and CEO. A cardiac surgeon with dual graduate degrees from Harvard and MIT, he will oversee the 6-hospital system.
Caritas Carney Hospital has received the American Stroke Association’s Get With The GuidelinesSM–Stroke (GWTG–Stroke) Silver Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes Caritas Carney’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations.
